School/Team Rules

Students
* Uphold the standards of the gym at all times. Respect for each other, our instructors, our families and our facility.

* Not use Taekwondo for any reasons other than necessary. Students should not show off or try to teach people outside the gym.
* Profanity is not permitted in the gym.

* Maintain good grades in school.
* Clean up after yourselves. Equipment is not to be left all around the training area.
* Respect the facility. We are in a rent gym with other businesses within the facility Respect our neighbours.

Parents
* Parents are not permitted to coach / instruct their students from the sidelines. Definitely support your children and enjoy watching them learn & grow – but we will handle the coaching 🙂
* Please do not interrupt the classes with loud talking on the gym floor during lessons. It can disrupt the children and hold back their attention to the lesson.
* At tournaments & events, do not act in any way that will shine a negative light on the gym (towards referees, coaches, other competitors etc). There is a zero tolerance policy towards this for team members including their parents.
* Nobody under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be allowed on the property of the training gym.
* If your child is having difficulty in school or having any issues at home etc, please do not punish them by taking Taekwondo away from them. Sometimes martial arts training can provide the boost they need to increase their focus in these areas. Removing Taekwondo as a punishment often makes things worse as it eliminates an outlet for stress and a positive influence during difficult times. Talk to us and we will try and help your child overcome these obstacles through our teachings.

Depending on the severity, violation of these rules may result in termination of membership.
